Megs...her experience was wonderful. Beach community, and sort of artsie and quaint. Emphasis was on green living, grow your own, live a healthy lifestyle, global warming etc., so I'm guessing that was the impression of the whole country. She also saw the best of the best, many state parks, tour of Whitsundays, Great Barrier reef, and Sydney, which as she explains, is nicer and cleaner than NYC! Anyway, it's good she came away with a better understanding of healthy living, even if it was a small slice of life in Australia! It's on my list of places to visit. Someday :-)

I'm glad she got a great view our beautiful country. I live near the southern end of the great barrier reef and spent my childhood growing up at the beach and frequent trips to great Kepple Island - in those days the logo's were 'get wrecked on kepple' and 'save water, bath with a friend' - too politically incorrect these days - unfortunately!!!! I haven't been to Byron but would love to go one day soon - it has always sounded lovely! I have been to the Whitsunday's - they are beautiful but I am biased for Kepple - pure white sand that squeaks when you walk on it!!!! The port city I live twenty km from is the gateway to Heron Island - fantastic diving on the reef - no beach - beautiful scenery.
There are a lot of green places around the country and the government are encourageing more and more......
I really hope you get to visit one day - you would be welcome to call in on me and I would be happy to show you around my part of the world.

12. Biggest Obstacle to Getting Healthy? i don't see where the weight has come from, i'm fairly active using the gym and riding and making a conscious effort to walk more atleast 30 mins of activity a day.
13. Weight/Fitness Goal? 165ish from 192 Last year I was in the 165-173 range it has crept on and i'm so miserable from it!

How did you find Calorie Count? went looking for a calories counter because I'm so upset and fustrated and needed some help.. some guidelines, so far have lost 4 pounds in a month since joining. so that is helpful especially after thyroid testnig etc revelaed no issues!! Hmmmms time for a diet and exercise change!
