I am sure some of you can relate...I don't talk about my weight, my friends are all thin and eat what they want without gaining, and my hubby is thin..I am not the type that is self-motivating and I need to hear that positive reinforcement or I tend to fall further down and think my goals are impossible. It is always easier to be lazy then to get up and moving. I am here to have someone kick me in the butt and tell me like it is! That is the kind of motivation I need (and don't worry I won't get mad because once I hear it I know it is true!). I hope to find someone or someones that can give me what I need and give them what they need from me.

Hi! I'm fairly new to the postings, but I've been at the website for just over a week now. I sure could use some motivational buddies! For the first week, I cut way down on my calories, walked at least 45 minutes every day, 2 days were interval walking/jogging, lifted weights 2 days and did cardio or core training 3 days. I gained 3 pounds!!! Over the weekend I was so bummed I ate everything in sight.
So I'm back at it again, pulling myself back up on the wagon! Any words of wisdom out there?

16. Anything Else You'd Like To Share? In the last year I have lost 30 lbs. I have been on many diets and have lost hundreds of lbs. I have come to the conclusion that the only way to loose weight and keep it off is to loose it slowly. That way your lifestyle changes and you keep it off.
I have a skinny friend who always asks how my weight loss is going I tell her and she looks me over and tells me that I don't look any skinner. She insinuates that I am not doing enough to take the weight off. I don't know how to react to people like this who have been skinny their whole lives and don't understand what I'm going through.
