New member - intro & looking for friends
Hi, I've been using the site for about 3 weeks, and want to say hello and introduce myself. I'm a recent transplant to Atlanta from Washington state, 33, with no kids, but a beagle named Cheeseburger. Imagine the dog getting loose in the neighborhood, and me wandering up and down the streets randomly yelling "Cheeseburger, come here cheeseburger! A weight watcher's nightmare! :-)
Right now, I'm at about 180, and looking to loose about 35 pounds. A few years back, my weight skyrocketed due to a bad situation to about 220, and just from cutting out sugar and eating more thoughtfully, I was able to drop down to my current weight, but I've been stuck at 180 for the last year, and mentally, I'm ready to put in the effort to loose the rest of the weight. I'm looking for some friends on the site to make this more FUN and for support!
cheers,
Mary

I'm fortunate that he tends to escape late at night, when I can go out under cover of darkness! LOL
I've been on here for about a week and change to and so far its been helpful to get over the little hump. I'm just working on 10lbs, wanting to look fit and feel good again. Have you seen any weight loss yet? I did add you as a buddy, trying to get into those tools as well on here, hope you don't mind.
Welcome
Welcome! I'm new to cc too. I've been here about 2 weeks and lost 5 lbs. But I'm not new to the weight loss journey.
I have to thank you for the laugh. I loved the "cheeseburger search" story! Started my day off with a chuckle!
As a fellow animal lover I have to share that I have a sheltie, a tuxedo cat and am currently babysitting the most neurotic chocolate lab I've ever met!
Good luck and welcome again!
