New member, need support and encouragement
Hi everyone. I'm a 34 year old female, 185 lbs., with four kids ages eight and down who got diagnosed last year with lung cancer (nope, never smoked). Nothing like a little cancer to wake you up! So anyway, I made a promise to myself that once I got past treatment I would drop this weight I've carried forever. I'm half a lung lighter and have completed four months of chemo. I feel I can do just about anything now, but need help staying focused. I would love to get to a healthy weight and be in shape so I can enjoy life to its fullest.
Glad to be here!
Glad to hear you made it through chemo and on your way to better health. Welcome to CC.com. I'm pretty new myself and have found CC to be a great way to keep me on track and motivated. All I can say right now is to take it one day, one bite and one exercise at a time. Stick with your goal and you WILL make it. God has given you a 2nd chance and you shouldn't take it for granted. If you ever need any help or motivation, e-mail and I'll be there. God Bless!
