new member, 30 years young, 40# supposedly, looking for buddy-support
Hello all,
I'm new here. At 30 years of age and 5'5", all the calculators think I'm ~40# overweight, but I cannot imagine being 135# again. That was last seen what I was 16 years old and an active kid at that. Right now I think I'd be pretty content with a size 9, whatever that may be weight-wise.
So far what I love most about this site is the big stinking grade at the top of my daily analysis. It keeps me really motivated for now. But what I would like is a few buddies to read with, commit to projects with, and to provide and receive support.
I have several goal pitstops:
1. Lose the 10# I've gained since my wedding last spring. (That's 164# goal)
2. Get myself to 150# (I think that is a comfortable size 10 for me).
3. Single digit sizes, baby! 9 is perfect!
My husband does not want me to be skin and bones, so I'm probably never going to aim for the 135# that all the calculators want from me. Women should be curvy, just not... well, lumpy. =)
So if you want someone to support you with reasonable expectations, gentle encouragement, understanding commiseration, please feel free to"buddy" me.
Love,
fern

Welcome again -- if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
I think you'll find that there are ranges of weights -- perhaps you are just destined to be at a higher end of the range -- don't sweat it

How can I make walking fun?
You have to find a way to make exercise fun or else you won't do it. If you walk indoors on a treadmill, I recommend moving outdoors into the fresh air... Read more
