Any new mothers out there?
I'm a mom of 3.... 5 1/2, 4, and almost 2... i can no longer use "baby weight" as an excuse. I was doing really well with dropping the weight... but it has slowly crept up again. I'm trying to NOT obsess about the numbers or the inches... i just need to lose weight so that I can keep up with the kids.
I'm here to support you Moms.
Let's support each other...
Cheers to you... and you... and me... and all of us.
I just had my 3rd son a month ago. My pre-preggo weight was 120, at his birth I was at 165, so I gained 45 lbs. I'm currently at 145, I lost 20 lbs right away after his birth. BUT, now I'd like to lose at least another 20 so I can fit into my clothes again and not have to purchase any new pants. All my old pants are 4s and 6s - I had to go to the thrift store and buy a couple pairs of 10s and 12s. All my shirts and sweaters fit, so I need to fix the hips/butt/thigh area and tone the abs.
I am not a new mom, my son is 4 and this is the heaviest I have been. I keep telling myself that it's because I had problems during my pregnancy and ended up gaining 40 in 2 weeks, but 4 years later, come on that excuse only works for so long. I started the 12 week program yesterday and I have so many questions. Like why does my calorie count say only 1500/day when my BMR that I did today say at least 1678 calories a day. I am so confused, and as you know being a mommy you don't have time to figure this all out. I also have a daughter that is 9. Does anyone know what all these numbers mean?
I am a mother of 4. I have a 5 year old, 3 year old and 2, 18 month old twins. The first child, I lost my weight in six months. However, for my second, it took a whole year. With my twins, it's been a year and a half and I still have almost 20 pounds to lose.
It hasn't been that long for you, your body will adjust back to normal. Just keep up your dieting efforts and you'll be back to normal in no time.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
