New here from N.J looking for diet buddy,
Looking for a diet buddy for support. I just love to eat,any reason will do.I have been dieting for 9 days now and have lost 4 lbs. Found this site when looking up calories and what my ideal wieght should be. Joined and have been learning how to use it. Still a little confused with it all but thought I would try to reach out for a new diet buddy. The last two days have been sure hell. The bags of doritos keeps calling but I have managed not to binge .But need some help with others who are struggling not to give in to temptation. I have planned out every meal or thing I will eat since starting my diet. It seems all I think about is food,food and more food. Will this go away?

. The way I'm going about this is to just begin to eat healthy. I've had such rotten bad habits over the years that I'm tired of it - I'm ready to learn about how food affects my body and put that to good use. If you can - toss the Doritos they won't be as tempting then - and don't forget that it's okay to have an off day - and congratulations on the 4 lbs. that's awesome!!!!!

I am originally from NJ! It will be 2 years this summer I moved to Vegas.
I agree with kimberly, toss the Doritos out. If you must buy them eventually buy the baked and get the small snack sizes, but for now get rid of all the junk.
What are your stats, height, weight, goals?

Hi! I am newer too. I've just started end of March to change my life. I joined this site about a week ago, and I am loving it! I am down about 20 lbs. Yikes right now it's the scale trick, you might know it, where you are at 22 lbs 1 day then 19 then 23 halalula you are down 25!!!!.. today it is a sold 21 for three days! (please let that stick for a week or so
) Any way... I can give you this. You must think of it as a life change, I kept thinking of it as a diet in past tries (I've had many diets I lost on before) and I had the Doritos sitting in that cabinet for my little treat when I lost some weight. Now they are gone! Put some nuts in your house and munch a few of those as your treat. See if they don't give you the salty fix you need.
I think I am doing well with the food for now. You know how when you are loosing and you start feeling good about your looks? That always helps me with the food. It motivates me to eat right. What I need help with is to keep moving! I am trying, but I need some one to buddy with me on exercise. I like to walk, how about you?
I need to loose about 30 more lbs just to get healthy. Yes I was that over weight! I stopped smoking and food was my fix. It's been over 2 years and not 1 cigarette. But I feel like I weight 500 lbs too much for my poor back and knees. I want to look great and feel great too!
Tonight I am going to fast walk 2 miles at my local track. Want to buddy and update each other tomorrow?

Well I made it past the doritos and was blind sided with 4 cookies. Ran to the scale this morning and I did not gain back my 4 pounds. Thank goodnes. Atleast I did not cheat today. I was glad to go back to work to take away some of the temptation and had a much better day.
I am so glad to hear how well your doing. 20 lbs AWESOME. Hope to get there myself. It is nice to hear of someones success. My first goal is to lose 42lbs by October .
I would love to buddy and will update you as often as possible. I walk alot for my job during the day and I m on my feet most of it. Walking is no problem it is the not eating junk that seems to be my struggle.
I really need to get in to sit ups or something to help the belly area. I would love to go back to bike riding. I have always loved it .
