New and need a Buddy
Hey all, I am new to this site, and need to be accountable for my actions! :)
I am looking for a buddy or two or three so we can all help each other reach our goals.
I'm 27 and around 186 so I have a way to go. I have been married for almost 4 years and am a college student which doesn't make it any easier. I am going to graduate with my bachelors in psychology this May and hope to be accepted into grad school in a few months to receive my masters in counseling. Hopefully after grad school I will start having kids, which is why I would really like to lose the weight, well, and to feel great! ^_^
I am still a member of weight watchers and I think I might try both for a while to get on track!
wow, all these people and no bud? bummer...
Come over to the bringing sexy back motivation forum...All the girls over there are very sweet and helpful:) I am up for being a buddy though:)
yeah thanks for the info. I'll check it out!
I am 28 and a 195. I am a student also so I would love to be a buddy. As a warning though I am in grad school so I am not always available but I really want to commit to this. Let's see how it goes.
I am also new here and in need of a buddy for motivation.I am a stay at home mom..I have 2 kids the younger one just 2 months now.I have been married for 4 years and planning to go back to school this year.
I am 146 and want to loose 20 pounds what is your goal.
Consider me iF you like.:)
I'm your Huckleberry! I need a buddy (or two) also.
Okay. I am a 48 year old male. 6 feet, 0 inches and weigh 208 lbs. My BMI is 28.2 which indicates tht I am extremely overweight. (A BMI of 30 is obese!!!) What the heck?! I thought I was not that bad, but all these stats and charts have me thinking I am a giant pig! It automaically calculated that I should be 165.2 lbs by October 28, 2009!!! This seems extremely skinny to me. I think I weighed that when I was a 10th grader in High School and I was skinny. Should a 48 year old man be that skinny?
I want to weigh 180 by April 15, 2009. I guess this is realistic. I'll see if can do it. I have never tried anything like this before in my life - so we will see how it goes.
I would like some buddies!
I'm 32 years old. I'm a full-time working, full-time mommy of two awesome kiddos (ages 4 and 2). I've been married for 8 years. (sidenote: Haiko - Your height and weight match my husband and I don't think he's even close to being obese. We were just talking about the weight chart and how it told him he should weigh 170-ish and how ridiculous that was. Even when he was EXTREMELY fit and all muscle - he weighed 185 and was QUITE attractive). (c:
I'm 5'4" and weigh 164 lbs. My goal is to get down to 120-125 by July 1, 2009. I choose this date because my cousin is getting married on the 4th of July and I want to be able to be proud of my body and wear a totally fun dress. I also thought this gave me enough time to actual lose that amount of weight safely.
I am in need of a buddy too! It is very intimidating to ask random strangers if I could be their friends but, I feel like we are all in this common goal together! So, I need some motivation and would like to motivate others. So consider adding me to your friends list!
I am 26 years old, I graduated with my Masters in Counseling quite recently, I am 5'6", and my starting weight was 161. In the past month I have managed to drop down to 154ish. I am trying to become a runner and am forcing myself to run 5k's and now 10k's in Feb. I found a really cool website called active.com where you can find different activities happening in your community that could motivate you to work towards getting yourself fit for that event which in turn, helps you loose weight.
My long term goal is to drop down to 130. My short term goal is to be at 140 by May 2009. I thinks it is pretty realistic. I can't wait to have some buddies on here!
We can all do it. Here is a suggestion, if you have time to watch the biggest loser on Tuesdays then do that. Watching people who are about the double of my weight go through those workouts shows me that I can do it. Yes, they are at the ranch and have an advantage that they don't have to be around food but if they can do it so can we. They are from all walks of life and all ages.
Btw, Haiko a goal of 180 is good, anything lower and you may look like a skeleton. My brother is 6'1 and 195 and he is very fit.
I will be your buddy too if you want. I just started here and am looking for some help with motivation.
I am 27. I am a SAHM to 3 kids. Currently 160lbs and 5'7". My goal is 135 but right now I would love to break into the 150's.
I am also new to the site. Started Jan. 2, 2009.
I am 51 years old and need to loose 17 more pounds. I have lost 4 already just counting my calories.
I am married with no children at home. I work full time in an office so exercise during the day is limited.
I would love to be a buddy.
Just add me or send me an email.
