Hi everyone. ok, so I am loving this site already but I did have a question. What is the Burn Meter all about? I understand how to put my daily activities in and all but what exactly is the burn meter number telling me? If anyone could explain I would be greatful. Thanks! :)
When you set up your account you have the option to select an average activity level... 'sedentary' 'light', 'moderate' etc. Depending on what you chose, that will appear in your burn meter as your total energy usage. If you add extra activities separately, those will increase the number in your burn meter. For weight-loss keep a gap between what you eat and your 'total burn' of about 700 cals... never going below 1200 if you're over 21
NB... If you selected 'Light activity' that covers off about half an hour of activity a day. So only add activity over and above that amount.
