Hello and welcome to Calorie Count!
I read your profile and I am so sorry for your loss. However, I think that it is a wonderful thing that you want to do this with your father's memory in mind and his wishes. However, above all, make sure you are doing it for YOURSELF.
You are off to a positive start :) If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

hi kaitlynmarie013, I am also sorry about your dad. The best advice I can give you is dont look at this like dieting look at it more like change of eating habits, also make a list of what motivates you. And use those things along your journey to keep you going. Also dont give up even if you do bad one day or at one meal just go forward dont let that turn into days or weeks of bad eating. :0) Hope this helps!
