Eventually you will need to eat 1200 cals or more because your metabolism is probably really slow. But keep up the great discipline!
Hope i helped:)
I am having the same problem. I am just not as hungry as I used to be. You need to eat more though because eventually you will plateau (I know from experience), and also you want this to be a lifestyle change not a quick and temporary diet.
Like I said, I am having the same problem, but I am trying to eat more meals a day with smaller portions. It's nice losing weight so fast but very unhealthy. I am also welcome to other tips.
My problem is that I'm on a college campus and I am so busy that I forget to eat and just don't think about food as much so I don't get hungry. Or, on the weekends I figure that I would eat more at night so I try to scale back during the day. Finding my groove on campus is hard! Any tips?
when i get t 120 (hopefully by mid october maybe sooner!! i will MAINTAIN at 1,200cal/day i think)
thanks for your advice!!!!
For Breakfast I always have my Special K, and nonfat milk.
For lunch: tuna fish on whole wheat bread, or a chef salad, or french toast made with two peices of whole wheat bread, egg beaters, and low cal jam instead of high cal syrup.
Dinner usually consists of fish: Halibut, Salmon, Tuna, Talapia, or other kinds of seafood (scallops, shrimp). Also, some frozen or canned vegetables, and sometimes some fresh ones. I tend to stay away from pork, and red meats. Chicken is a pretty good choice too.
For snacks I have apples, a little low fat ice cream, maybe some canned corn, shitake mushrooms, and other things like that.
And when I find myself a little hungry still even after dinner or after I ahve exceeded my calorie allowance for the day, I will drink some hot no cal decaff tea sweetened with splenda, and that will fill me up.
By the way....you can always drink one or two high calorie drinks during the day instead of eating all of your calories.
Hope this helps you.
"i am really starting to enjoy doing this!!!"
-when you start to enjoy starving yourself, you know you have a serious problem! believe me, i was there too, wanted to lose weight really badly so stopped eating more than 800 cals a day. after a couple of weeks i really started to have fun losing all that weight and kind of got "addicted" to it. even though i had already lost enough weight, i still wanted to lose more! and i wasn't even hungry at all anymore! but this was due to the fact that my metabolism had slowed waaaay down and my body was kind of shutting itself off.
what you're doing is bad and you'll regret it in the long term. please try to up your calories. i know you're scared of gaining all that lost weight back, but trust me, you'll only gain a few pounds which will come off again when you start dieting normally. and eating more DOES help you lose weight! i experienced it myself. after i stopped starving myself and started eating 1200 cals a day i hit a plateau after a couple of weeks and couldn't lose anymore. so i upped my cals to between 1300 and 1500 and guess what? i'm losing again and pretty fast too!
so please, believe what the people on this forum are telling you! they DO know better.
good luck
