New Puppy -need name

Long story shortened - abandoned puppy in my neighborhood,  I took her home, bathed her, fed her.  She's adorable!  Very smart.  About 6-8 months old.  Terrier mix of some sort?????  (I'll post a photo)  I'm drawing a blank as to a name.  My SO hasn't come up with anything either.  Can you guys help?

What about Ella?  Ella as in Fitzgerald who was homeless as a teenager.  Homeless celebs

Marilyn vos Savant had the highest IQ.  So Marilyn or Mary might be a good name.

Ohhh Marilyn is a cute name for a dog! I'm a big fan of people names for animals. How about Zoey or Molly?

I used to have a cat named 'puppy'  I used to ask my friends if they wanted to meet my 'puppy' so I would call her into the room....

"here puppy puppy puppy puppy"..... and from around the corner in came a kitty. 

hehe..  my friends use to get a kick out of that. 

Lilly or Ella or Roxy

Names I thought of four our dog but my boyfriend didn't like em, I think he thought they were too girly, NOW he's wishing she had a girlier name, since everyone thinks she's a boy.

I hardly ever call my cat by her name even though she knows her name..

I have a hymilain cat named Carlie but call her baby girl.. sweet girl. She was heading to the pound due to my old boss couldnt keep her.. i kept her prior name. She was refusing all of us and now she has come to only trust me.. She does take to everyone but will bite if touched wrong.  She may of had it bad prior so I take that into reason.  Whatever you chose I am sure it will be cute as her!

I like names with some thought put into it. See what she's like for a day or two, her personality, interesting markings, colours etc.

I named one of our cats Alomar because he has extra toes and his paws looked like a baseball mitt, so I named him after the baseball player Roberto Alomar (I was 11 and he's the only one I knew :P)...we just call him Al though. My brother got a calico kitten, I thought of Jenga since her blobs of colour sort of fit together like jenga blocks. Also Maui (like 'mow-ie', kinda like the sounds cats make), Terra (like tera firma, her blobs are like the continants of earth). A friend had one named Pebbles which is cute. My dad's dog's name is Isis (Egyptian goddess), which fits her because she's a pure white blue eyed husky, so it sounds like 'Ice'. One of her puppies I named Sabbath because he was the 7th and last born. I had a black rat when I was 8 that I named Pitch, more unique than 'Blackie' (no offense to anyone but I really hate that name).

Anyway, I say be creative :)

I just thought of this. My grandparents had names that no one would use for their kids. So I named my pets after them.  Winnie,Ollie, and Roscoe.
