1.EAT HEALTHY!

9.SAVE MONEY. I am awful at saving money, and I want to actually do something with it besides blow it on crap.

10.Seize the Day.

11.Stop being lazy and go out more.

12.Spend more time outside.

13.Dont sweat the small stuff.

14.Go to Wyoming to see my brother.

15.Walk dogs at the shelter.

16.Do something artistic.

hmm well i posted a list before, but reading yours inspired me to add more haha..

 - 4.0 GPA (more like a school year resolution.. i'm good so far)

- maintain 110 healthily 

- drink more water

- cut down on coffee (already down from 10 cups a day), start drinking more green tea

- cut down on drugs

- finish reading list (which is HUGE and consists of actual classics and tough reads)

- keep my room clean! 

- save 75% of each paycheck

- pick up my phone, and actually call people back 

- narrow down list of potential colleges 

1. Lose 25lbs
2. Pass My Economics AS
3. Attempt to revise for my other subjects
4. Laugh hard, Party harder!
5. Get a new job
6. Pass my Arts course
7. Teach myself some more on the Guitar
8. Have fun (!)
9. Start writing poetry again
10. Get tickets to the reading festival (and T in the Park) - getting to either would be classic!

I went for 10, nice round number - although I can think of a ton more!
in no paticular order:

1. get a B+ in chemisty

2. be more sociable

3. exercise more than 3 times a week

4. try to control anxiety

5. get out of the house more

6. go swimming without shorts over my bathing suit

7. be more comfortable with my body

8. be more confident in speaking german

9. draw and write more

man, i feel like i have alot...

1. stop being such a fat ass and lose some weight(preferably 13lbs)

Same as mentioned in MollyMouser's thread.  To continue to be medication free, self mutilation free, to lighten up on the drinking and rude, random remarks in the forums, and to stop procrastinating when it comes to packing/unpacking.

Hey! Mine are:

1. Lose 15lbs HEALTHILY

2. Go to yoga at least 5 days a week

3. Write all of my school exams by the end of March-we can do that at my school! but its ALOT of work.

4. Finish with an overall average in the 90s

5. Tell my best friend how I really feel about him - haha lame i know but it would be a big step for me.

6. Be more patient with my parents

7. Be more up front with people and tell them what I'm really thinking

8. GET MY DRIVERS LICENSE!

9. Pick up reading again because I love it

mine is to STOP COUNTING CALORIES. because that's what started my binge cycle. i just want to go back to normal.

I love this forum!  I'm in the older end of the acceptable age range (just turned 27), but I may be able to contribute tiny bit of wisdom (I'm laughing at myself right now).  I still remember the anxiety of Junior High School VERY WELL and the insecurities of high school and then the fear of college, in addition to the following years learning to be a grown-up. 

Anyways, I'm going to call them goals instead of resolutions....less pressure that way!

1. Abstain from alcohol in January, followed by moderate drinking, following the doctor-accepted moderation guidelines,  for the rest of the year.  This is the most important resolution that I am making.

2. Exercise 3-4 days per week, 50% cardio and 50% weight training.

3. Improve my diet by eating a ton more fruits and vegetables and healthy proteins.  (Aside from alcohol, I'm not planning on cutting out any foods.)

4. Research Grad schools and create a plan to get myself there.

5. Put money in my Money Market Account on a regular basis.

6. Practice piano 3 hours a week.

7. Begin to learn guitar.

8. Have at least one adventure (traveling across country is acceptable).

1)gain some weight (120 atm want to get to atleast 145 and maintain that)

2)six pack(ill have this early lol)

5)get more musclar(not to hard)

6)take my dog for more walks and like make him have more fun

7)get 15 on beep test in gym class(get three chances on this)

8)run 500 kilometres or more during the summer

1. Keep up the good work of losing weight.  75 pounds left to go!

2. To be more efficient at playing the flute.

3. Put my kids in Private school.

4.  Go back to school myself.

5.  Buy a house.

6.  Get my mom to move near me and her grandkids.

7.  To make this year better then last. 

1. Keep my 4.0 grade average

3. Become more organized

4. Keep my car clean

5. Go to the gym at least 4 days a week

6. Make more of an effort to stay in touch with old friends

7. Get a part time job

8. And last but not least, find a boyfriend... hahaha... wish me luck! 

  • Commit myself to my running program
  • Lose the last 30(ish) pounds
  • Maintain my 4.0 GPA (so glad to see all the other hard working students that want to do the same in this thread!)
  • Work on not being so anti-social
  • Learn to do more things myself, like change my own oil in my car
  • Be nicer to myself
  • Cut out the last of the processed foods that I still eat
  • Continue being the best wife, friend, daughter, and woman that I can be

1. Stop stressing out about schoolwork when I already have a 4.0 -- I don't need more than one -- and have been accepted to college.

2. Clean my room and keep it that way.

3. Actually call people back when they call me.

5. Become happy with my body by: not worrying about weight and simply toning that remaining jiggle up to muscle.

6. Be happy and confident with myself and my life.

1. Choose to be happy, dont sweat the small stuff.
2. Leave my work at work. Maintain a balance between work and family.
3. Continue to get healthy. Trying to get down to 150-ish.
4. Read more books, watch less TV.
5. Travel more.
