A new restraunt job is killing my weightloss
I have worked so hard these past 6 months and i lost 52 pounds i am so proud but i have a long way to go to lose another 50 i started working to help out my hubby at bennigins restraunt and i have already cheated this weekend i just dont know what to do i need support on not giving in i cant quit we need money. i just keep thinking what i can do to so i wont eat at that place. I work at night from 5 to 12 im a hostess and a server an im on my feet all night i sweat alot when im there i also lift about 50 chairs a night i dont even know if when im at work if i burn alot of calories. besides that i work out on my treadmill for 45 min before work. im so lost right now can anyone give me advice or just cheer me up because i worked so hard i dont want to mess up again im thinking on starting phase 1 on sbd agin so i wont go for any fried foods or sweets. Before i starting working i ate 1200 cals a day and i up it to 1500 because i thought i might be burning more at work but i think that just gave me the ticket to eat more stuff i need help anyone out there. ![]()

thanks fot the reply gi-jane i never really had thought about planning food out but i think i might try that i had already changed my activity level to moderate but do you think i should eat when i get home at 12 in the morning i thought it was bad to eat so late. get back to me on that. but i will try the planning. anyone else have advice to give me.
Have the most substantial meal before you start work, perhaps. That's when you need the most energy. Take a moderate-size packed meal and then plan something fairly light for when you get home.
i also work at a resarant and i find that those days i tend to loose more weight then days i don't work, because u are walking around and moving the whole time. what i do is i make dinner b4 i leave and make sure it is one of my fav things to eat, so that the whole time i'm at work i'm thinking about what food i get to eat when i get home. also bring snacks to work and drink lots of water during ur shift so u don't feel as hungry.
I agree with gijane about planning out meals. I used to work at a restaurant and i would always make sure that I ate before my shift because I didn't want to rely on the food there. I think most of us don't realize how many calories are in restaurant food because we don't know exactly what goes into that food. 1500 calories a day seems perfect for your activity level. I would just steer clear of Bennigan's food!
