New Rules of Lifting Question -- the original not women's

In the NROL it says to do the "break in " workout first before starting this program- my question is what if you've been doing NROL4Women and now going into the "real deal" did you still do the beginning workout or did you go into the first hypertrophy workout??

Its no big deal to do the 2 weeks of break in but just wondering what everyone else did and if they wished they had done it differently.

I did it but ended up thinking I didn't need to.  It was pretty boring after Stage 7.  Also, I didn't start with HypI, I did Fat Loss II first.

I skipped break in!  I am glad I did.  I needed to move on to something different after stage 7 and was tired of 15 reps.   Like Megan, I went straight to FLII, but not so sure that was a good choice for me.  FL II was HARD, especially the bulgarian split squat with overhead press!  It starts with 12 reps & works the reps down.  I would have preferred something with less reps.

FYI - Didn't know if you knew that in the NROLFW group there is a "Life after NROLFW" forum.

 

Thanks ladies -- I was thinking I really didn't need to do the break in workout since I'm going right from stage 7 to the real deal and this stage 7 is whipping my butt big time.  

I am going to do the workouts in the order NROL recommends, but will skip the break in stage.

Well I did the Break In, but I was coming back after an injury and hadn't lifted in a couple of weeks, so I probably needed it.

I then did Fat Loss I, and just finished Hyp I last night.  Looks like I'm going to do Strength I starting next week. 

I have however added complexes at the end of my workouts.  I just can't even stand the thought of getting on the treadmill any more, and these are sort of intervalish kind of like the body weight matrix from NROLFW.
