New Scale Blues

I am so depressed!  I have been using a scale that my aunt gave me for Christmas (yes, she did) and I knew it wasn't accurate because it would always give different readings.  So, I went and got a new snazzy digital one.  I also discovered that I'm really 11 pounds heavier than I thought.  Maybe that will be my motivtion.

I feel your pain!  My new scale also tells you your body fat %, H2O level, and bone density...

I've been working out and eating pretty well (I have a B+ for the month), and I've gained 4 pounds this week.  I'm mid cycle, so thats not it.  I'm totally frustrated, and trying not to let it ruin my motivation. 

How fast do you put on muscle that it would actually increase your weight? 

I don't really know, but it doesn't seem like you'd gain 4 pounds of muscle in a week.  It could be a number of things.  Womanly things totally screws up our bodies!!!  You'll get there.

Hang in there.  You've come this far; you just need to hold out for just a bit longer.

Just don't switch scales again between now and then.

Wrap the old one and regift it BACK to your aunt.......

The water levels, bone density and other things are aproximate but the weight should be precise on a digital scale. It's easy to test just weigh yourself then drink a measured quantity of water and weigh yourself again, see if it adds up properly. After I got this digital thing I couldn't resist the urge to weigh my cat, turns out he should be on a diet too :)
