New to this site-advice please?
Hi all-I'm new to this site. My friends either call me Deborah or Monica (my middle name). I weigh 173. I am trying to lose weight, but the thing is I'm not hungry. I know that I should be eating to keep my metabolism up, but the past few days I just haven't been that hungry at all. Today I had a piece of zucchini for breakfast and some water. What would you suggest to eat for someone who isn't hungry but wants to lose weight. I think some of my hunger loss is psychological since every time I think about eating something I think about the added calories to my system. Could you please help?
Try eating some fruit or a salad if you aren't feeling hungry as such, especially so if the stomach is hungry but the mouth isn't if you know what I mean :) Those sorts of foods aren't too much effort to eat. Or maybe a small meal, perhaps toasted brown bread with one of the lighter cheese spreads :)
If you're not that hungry why not try drinking some of your calories instead? Have a glass of milk or a fruit smoothie.

You should start the day with protien, how about a slice of Leedamder Lite cheese, 70 cals a slice, on a rice cake or crispbread?
The saying is, dine like a king at breakfast, a prince for lunch and a pauper for dinner. You are not giving your body any fuel to work with on what you have to eat now in the morning.
Nuts they are loaded with calories....and you won't have to eat that many, or try dried apricots....also very very good....
