New to the site, not new to the diet roller coaster
Hello! I am rather new to the site. Dieting is no stranger to me as I've been on everything from liquid diets, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Adkins, and calorie counting type diets, in my lifetime of 49 years! I have to admit all the diets I have ever been on have been effective. It is the maintainence part that kicks my rear everytime. Now, after years of being a normal weight, I find myself back to yet another attempt to lose the weight. I am looking forward to meeting some of you. ![]()
Hey there Lyndafsc! You sound just like me. Every diet in the world for the past ten years solid (well, not solid, but for 90% of the time). I have had a lot of success with CC lost 20 lbs in the first 30 or so days. Just in time for last weeks' vacation (boo).
Anyway, check my bio, I'm sure there are a few things that ring a bell. I am friending you so we can help each other out.
A few suggestions that have worked for me. Buy a kitchen scale, it really helps with 'eyeballing' portion sizes (and it is the only thing I have spent money on so far - that is just a bonus!). Drink lots of water, and try to do a little something extra a day as far as exercise goes.
