Hi I am new to the site and would like to meet people to support my "struggles" for the love of eating! Check out my bio.for more info. Howdy!  Like you, I'm not "on a diet," but rather trying to revamp how I eat, choices I make - a lifestyle change.  The right way, right? 

I've been really watching the calories and trying to eat healthy for about 10 days and it's going very well.  I find this site very helpful with the food log, weight log and recipe analyzer.  It helps that I like to cook and am having fun finding great recipes that are good for you AND taste great.  It was a lot harder to eat right when I only used to cook "from a box."

Definitely explore the site.  There are lots of great people on here to help keep you motivated and ask questions.

hey kim, I am not new to this site but i'm starting over again with my weight loss. I need to lose about 30 lbs. Last time I "changed'' my eating habits and went to the gym, I got frustrated that it wasn't coming off fast enough. I really want to get into a bathing suit this summer and be able to wear my "skinny" jeans. No cha nge that, I WILL. ( positive thinking).  good luck!!!!      & nbsp;

Hi Kim, i'm majella.  i've never been on a diet before - I would prefer not to say I'm on one now either.  But I think that is just me hating the word!  This is my first day on the calorie counter website but I have been trying to be more conscious of my food choices for over a fortnight now.  I need to lose about 30 kilograms (I'm an Aussie!) but I intend to do this slowly.  I hope to lose 20 kg by Christmas and the final 10 kg by my 33rd birthday in August 09. 

Like you, I have been planning to start exercising but haven't yet so...  I'm going for a walk on the beach RIGHT NOW!!!!Foot in mouth
