Hi everyone! I am basically new to this site and hoping I understand everything correctly. Looking at my daily activities, it says I burn 2171 calories a day. I looked what I ate today- and that was 1400(I know I was at 1100 until my husband bought home some chips with salsa (bad me). Anyhow -- all together, it still seems my calories consumed is less than my calories burnt - which I assume is what we want? It just seems strange that it says I can have 1600 to maintain my weight. When I did my profile I put it under light 0- because I didn’t really do much. However, now we are hiking every day up this mountain trail next to my house to help maintain my blood sugars so I believe that is pushing up my calories burnt. Anyways - I am hoping I understand how this works!

This site is great to belong to :)
I'm basically new too, but cc seems like a great place to find help and support. I know it's helped me alot only the short time I've been here! Good Luck!
If you'd like to be a support to each other, just let me know.

i'm right now trying to figure out how to add people as friends...
to add people as friends, click on their picture or name in a post -- when the profile comes up, click on "add buddy" which is on the upper right hand corner of the profile box
Gosh someone add me! Haha i have no one
