My new (and slightly superficial) motivation

Quote  |  Reply

There's a super cute new personal trainer at my gym :). I like showing off when he's around, which subsequently causes me to work harder and burn more. I'm even considering investing in a personal trainer. He's unaware of the fact that he's already getting me to the gym when I just want to be lazy, and I credit him for my 10 lb loss. It's totally not legal, because he's probably a college grad and I'm almost 17, but I can admire from a distance, right? Haha.

Don't you love when working out doesn't seem like work?

Reading this made me smile =) I've been tempted to switch my schedule around to be at the gym when this one cutie's there. I'm way too embarassed to be seen sweating and panting in front of him though!

I'm in the same boat! This one super cute trainer told me to take one of his classes one day and I did.... Now when I go in if he's there he comes over and says hi! I usually like to workout in the morning before my body has a chance to protest but now I'm going in the afternoon as well sometimes if I think he'll be there! He has single-handedly kicked my ass into shape without me spending a dollar :)

you've got to do what works!!!

Don't do it to yourself.  He probably needs the money and would want to train you.  These guys are some times like that.  They are super nice for business purposes.  Think about it for a minute...he's a trainer, that's his business.

Great to use for eye candy and personal motivation, but keep it real.

BTW...congrats on the weight loss.

Motivation is motivation. You're ultimately doing it for yourself, anyway.

Definitely no hotties at my gym. Then again, there's usually no one there when I go.

lol of course I'm not going to try anything, as I stated above. It's mostly for my own benefit anyway, getting a trainer. And thank you.

i should really consider a mixed gym instead of my boring ladies gym! :o) But I want to lose 50 lb before going to a mixed gym with hot instructors...

Sarah - enjoy the view for now and just think of the day you hit your goal weight! Then you"ll ask him out! :o))

A couple years back I had some gym eye candy as motivation too.....then I got to know him, and realized what a doucher he is...

Bottom line, DON"T pursue anything...seriously, he could be a complete moron or something...once he opens his mouth it could ruin everything...then where's your motivation to work out???  Sometimes it's fun to have nice little crushes from afar...sure drool over him on the treadmill, show off a little, picture him without a shirt on or whatever, but leave it at that...otherwise your motivation could be crushed.

Haha. That's awesome.

Do whatever works.

I have a cutie at my gym. Easily ten years older than me but I can still admire from afar right? HAha. And about the "once he opens his mouth itll be ruined thing." He speaks broken english so it doesnt matter anyways. :]

That's exactly why I don't mind going to the gym. The guy that checks everyone in is FINE! And he's really sweet.

Too bad he's working less this semester. I thik he's taken, but looking never hurt anybody. lol

awesome!
