new trainer today - will this get results?

Quote  |  Reply

Ifor the first time in about 6,7 years I am going to a personal trainer. A Kinesiologist on top of that! I am excited. I have already had my assessment, and today is my first training day. I am excited because with this new routine, i might be able to lost a couple inches of each thigh/hips. I never see a difference with the size of my legs no matter how hard or little i train, orhow much I weigh, so I'm hoping proper training will change this. I'll keep everyone posted!

anyone see a difference after they started using a trainer? how long did it take before you noticed a difference?

I'd never been to a personal trainer before, but I started working with one for the first time about 5 weeks ago - and I've decided it's totally awesome and well worth the cost. I actually started seeing a difference in my legs after 3-4 sessions (i go twice a week). I'm not sure if that just has to do more with how my body burns fat (usually from the bottom first) or with the actual workouts I was doing - which aren't uniform. But having a totally different workout every tiem I go is exactly what I wanted. It's nice to have variety :)

So: yes! I definitely saw/am seeing results thanks to my personal trainer, but you have to keep in mind that even if you're working out really hard it's still going to take time and everyone loses weight/tones up a little differently.

Good luck!
