Starting today july 21st I am going to pledge to lose 8 pounds by august 21st.

I pledge to not eat any junk food and eat healthy.

I pledge to stay motivated and exercise 3x per week.

I am 220 I want to lose at least 40 lbs-180lb by december yes i know thats extreme but I plan to eat healthy and practice portion control and exercise every day 30 min in addition to walking my ass off literally :)

Except for the working out 3x a week. I can't do it. @.@ don't know where/how to start. So I'll walk for 1 hour in the park (very hilly place) 6x a week.

I am 217, down from 245 las December. My Goal for August 21st is 10lbs. :) Maybe I won't get there, but I like to keep goals just out of reach so I work harder.
So our first weigh in is on saturday july 28th.

You're trying to eat 1000 cals less than you burn/need a day? That's pretty steep, I would sign, but I know that I will only have lost half of that amount by that time, so I won't ^^


A few months ago I was able to lose that fast, but times changed :/

Malissa :)  I know we can do it!  2 lbs a week is totally healthy!  That is my goal too although I never get it, but still we have to set our goal high and then be happy with what comes :D

ps- I am also a teen, I saw your post before.  I am worried that I will gain back my freshmen 10 once I go back to school.  Right now, I have lost about 5 pounds of it, and I have about 15 more to go!  If you want to check up on each other once we are at school, that'd be great! just add me as your friend!
I want to join I've been on a plateau. The last 5 are really hard. I pledge no empty calories(candy, cookies ect,,) lots of fruit/veggiesT go down slow so it matters!
