newbie here..I dont know where to start!
I am 5 4 ad i weigh 228lbs. According to the BMI calculations ..39..i am really overweight. I am 30yrs old now and i really want to get healthy and lose the weight. There is so much information out there about diets that its a little overwhelming. I dont necessarily need a quick fix, after all it took me a while to put on the weight, i just want to get healthy! How do i start? any advice?

Welcome to CC. Love your screen name, good choice. I started at 226 so I can relate to your dilemma. The good news is that it is possible to make positive lifestyle changes and become more healthy and fit. Just remember to make small changes at first because they are easier to incorporate into a long-term routine. Good luck!
