Newbie from Europe =)
Hei!
I just found CC and it looks great. I´ve never had an online diet journal and this place looks perfect to start. I hope this time it will work because I´ve tried several diets in the past but found it hard to go ahead because no one supported me and understood how important was to lose weight so now let´s start again. ¨
Anyway, I´m 17 and come from Italy even if actually I´m living in Finland, until the end of June, to study.
I´m into a 2years relationship which is getting more and more serious, we hope to move together soon after I come back from Finland.
My current weight is 148lbs and I´m 5'3'' tall, I hope I can reach my goal which is 122 lbs. My plan is to be more active and eat healtier than I did lately (in the past month I gained 3lbs due to new foods and different routine). I also applied to find a diet buddy to get this thing going. I hope to get new friends here =)
My main hobbies are singing, handcrfts, foreign languages, animals and trying new things! I´m a very curious person.
New it´s time to leave but I really hope to get to know you all =)

I'm also in Europe - Germany to be specific and as my user name points out. I'm 5'4" and started at about 150. I'm now at my goal of 120ish and am attempting to 'maintain'. Be sure to check out all the info, articles, etc that CC offers. Lots of people on here, myself included, love to give advice. However, most of us are not professional nutritionists, doctors, trainers, or health care providers. In other word, be sure to research whatever you plan on doing.
Beinga teenager, your needs will be slightly different than an adult's. You especially need to make sure you get enough vitamins and nutrients to sustain your physical development. There's a forum especially for young CCers that you might want to look at.

Hi and welcome to CC! I think you'll be glad you found this site. It has everything you need to start your program and lots of help and support to aid you in your journey. Make sure you use the tools and if you keep it up, you'll lose weight. The best part is that there isn't any "forbidden" foods. You can literally eat whatever you want as long as it fits into your calories for the day. Any questions you have can easily be answered in the forums. There's always good advice to be had here.
