HI everyone my name is Diane and I am from Michigan. I just happened on to this web site so thought I would give it a try . I went to the doctor on Frisay to get the results of my blood work and found out that I have high sugar ,not yet being diabetis .I alos have high scholestrol and high blood pressure. Wow and to top it off I was weighed in at 212 lbs the most I have ever weighed .That was a slap to my self esteem.

So I am here to meet anyone that would like to be a buddy or a support someone that I can talk to if times get hard.

Thnaks for listening,

Diane

Hi Diane, I am new to here as well.  My slap in the face happend recently on an airplane when the flying attendent asked me if I needed an extention to my seat belt.  I managed to buckle my seat with about an inch left to spare, but was really embarresed.  I am 5'8 and last month I weighed in at 238 pounds, the heaviest I have ever been.  (I did manage to lose 8 pounds over the holidays, that was a first.)  I recently started going back to the gym, but this time I am paying extra money to work out with a trainer twice a week, and then 3 or 4 days a week I workout and do cardio exercises. My trainer wanted me to track my daily calories so that's how I stumbled here. I too am looking for support.

Tori from AZ.
