Hi all, I recently began the year with a new look on life. My husband and I decided this is the year things are going to change. I started a new 'diet' on the 2nd of January and found CCP that same day. Being a computer dork - I love inputting all my food and getting calculations about what I am eating. Having used this system for the past 16 days I have lost 10.5 pounds!!! Yeah...still quite a ways away from my long term goal weight, but I have to lose 37.5 more to my "holy cow I weight this much again!!!" weight! I am 27 and a teacher, married, no kids, and I would love to get some friends within this network. Also, I am looking for ways to fit in exercising, I have not yet been able to get it into my schedule, between school, work and keeping up a house, I could use some tips!! Best of luck! Lisa

Looks like we have a lot in common.
First, I also began the new life on Jan. 2, but I had found CC back in November. I just decided to wait until the holidays were over.
I too am a computer dork and love entering my food on the log and seeing how many calories I eat in a day.
I have also lost 10.5 pounds since Jan. 2.
I still have 52 pounds to hit my "goal."
I am 35, mother to a 9 month old boy (the love of my life might I add) and a 17 year old step son (whom I adore).
My husband is also dieting and exercising, but he isn't as computer savvy so isn't into the CC life, but since I am, we eat well within a good range for him as well.
I would love to be your CC friend.
