newbie - need help losing 25 lbs.
Hi - I am new here, and my goal is to lose my last 25 pounds. At my heaviest, I weighed 233 ( I am 32 and 5' 7") which was several years ago. I have sloooowly dropped down to 168 (on a good day) and fluctuate about 3 lbs up and down. I have been unable to drop below 168 despite the fact that I exercise 4-5 times a week (vigorous aerobic exercise, walking, and weight training) and generally eat 1500 calories a day. I think maybe my problem happens on weekends, when I tend to be less restrictive. I don't go crazy, but I eat things that I shouldn't like cheese fries or big portions of ice cream.
Any advice on how to handle weekends? Any tips from those of you struggling with those last 20 lbs. or so?
Thanks!
Our stats are super similar! Im 29, 5'6, highest weight was 240 and for a couple years after Id hover around 155-165. Just this June I decided to get rid of the extra weight....and since June 12 Ive gone from 170+ to 147. Main goal is to get to 135 by end of Sept! :)
Weekend are my weakness too! BUT recently Ive been doing way better. Making a weekend eating plan, sticking to it, none of that eating maint cal crap, working out, etc.
Im going to add you as a friend. Feel free to add me back. Ive found that creating a profile, and journaling really helps to keep me motivated on the weekends. Joining the Challenges works well too.
Cheers,
Christy
Hey, thanks Christy! I was really encouraged to hear your story - and I think it's awesome that you have lost 20 pounds or so in the last few months. That makes me feel that its achievable. Thanks for the support.

Treat yourself at some point on the weekend(not the entire weekend) maybe find something in between ultra healthy and cheese fries so you feel like your rewarding yourself without having guilt.
