can anyone help. i joined up yesterday tuesday september 1st (uk) today the 2nd i am trying to add foods but they keep adding to yesterdays list. is there a setting on the site for time changes, gmt etc

I too just joined a couple of days ago, this morning I just hit my My Home page and then went back to my Food Log page and it was blank and ready to add today's foods.
cheers for that. i finally discovered where i had gone wrong...apart from getting out of bed this morning!!! ta for replying, take care and all the best with your time on site

Welcome to Calorie Count. When you hit the "add new food" button, if you will scroll down to the bottom of your page, there should be a drop-down calendar there, so you can view yesterday, today, last week, etc. , and you should be able to choose the date you are adding food for. You can always go back to yesterday's date and add any food you forgot to add, or change anything you need to.
Also, when you look up calories for foods that you commonly eat, you can "tag" them, so that you don't have to keep looking up the same item. I find the "tagged" items to be of great help because I eat a lot of tomatoes and cucumbers, and I tagged them, so that I don't have to keep looking them up.
I love this site, it is really helping me see exactly what I am eating and how many calories i am taking in. You can also log in your weight when you weigh in to help you keep track of your gains and losses.

OH, yeah, forgot to tell ya, you have to be logged in to your account to add stuff, so make sure you are logged in each time you come to your page.
