Newbie from Virginia

Hello All!  I am a "newbie" and currently reside outside of the Richmond, Virginia area.  My goal is to lose about 65 lbs which I have managed to pack on in the last year from stress of being out of work for so long (a year) and fighting cancer (3rd round in the last 4 years).  I went through my 3rd surgery this past fall and treatment and managed to pack on 55 lbs in 4 months.  My energy levels are low as well as my self esteem and decided a few weeks ago that I needed to "get off my butt and do something" - so here I am!

A couple of weeks ago my husband bought me some exercise equipment, weights, workout ball, workout clothes and has given me a TON of support & motivation to get through this difficult time in our lives.  I started eating better, working out (slowly) and started weight training/toning a few weeks ago and have managed to lose about 14 lbs.  I am currently at 223 lbs and would like to get back down to 160-165 lbs by summer.  I am a tall, "large framed" country gal, so some might believe I don't weigh as much as I do, but the proof is on the scale!  LOL!!

Anyway, that is my lil' introduction!  I am seeking some additional motivation and support to carry me through this journey of being healthy & fit and hope to get to know y'all!
