newmans own cereal GROSS!!

has anyone tried newmans own "sweet enough" honey and flax flakes cereal?? if you haven't DON'T!!! OMG its sooo gross it actually tasted like fish! im serious, does anyone else agree w/ me? never in my life have i experienced an actual fishy tasteing cereal ugh

I also find that adding some raisins and cinnamon to just about any cereal makes it better...even Grape-Nuts.

I do the same thing as qpx, only I substitue raisins for Splenda.

It's helping me get through the six boxes of Kashi Autumn Wheat squares I got on sale. The cereal in a naked state was so bland.

Now I enjoy a sweet cinnamony goodness.

this reminded me of one morning I was traveling through china and was in datong about 8hrs from China....and very hungry I brought what appeared to be a sweat flaky breaded thing covered with shugar,  looked smelled great,  i took a bite and actually threw up. never happened to me before,  it was some type of sweet fish breakfest roll.  so yes to have something you expect will be sweet and wonderful and to end up eating fish where fish does not belong is not pleasent!  by the way I am so not pickey and love everything else about China and its food.
