Just curious, where do you get your news from? News papers, magazines, t.v. intertnet, etc,?
I personally watch Fox news and read Time Magazine online. Time is the best online news magazine I have found so far.
What about you?
the WSJ....and the daily show / colbert report! :D hehehe
I read Review Journal in the morning when I have the time, and I watch Fox news as well.
I used to watch Nancy Grace, but she just makes me want to rip my hair out.

Holy smokes, I completely agree. I cannot stand her, or her opinion or even her voice.... I think that its a crime they allowed her to have children...
Yes! I feel the same way, and I never agree with her opinions, and thinks she overanalyzes a bit.
Then again, I'm old fashioned and think a reporter should only report facts, not opinions.
I wish I could confidently and truthfully list credible sources like the 6 o'clock news, the local paper, TIME etc... but in truth, I get most of my news from foxnews.com, macleans.ca, and... and.... (gasp) perezhilton.com :S
Chances are, if I caught the 6 o'clock news, it was because I was too lazy to change the channel after "The Simpsons" was on.
Hey, I'm not a journalism major!
I get my news EVERYWHERE! I have to because I am a broadcast news major at school... so I need to confirm things by reading multiple sources.

ME TOO!
Haha.
But I don't consider that news. Its mainly celeb news imo.

Yeah, it is hard to decipher the truth from these sources. I think that BBC news is has the most truthful and honest perspective when it comes to the news. Because its a less bias outsiders report unlike the fox news network. However I still choose to watch fox if I can.
i watch cbc newsworld every morning, the national (cbc) and local/provincial news (global) most evenings, and i scan local and national newspapers online. if something exciting is going on, i check in with cnn, but otherwise i avoid most american news media.
I never watch the main three networks (NBC, CBS, ABC) for news - the last time I consistently tried, I was disgusted at the amount of fluff. CNN bores me, CNBC only has one redeeming show on it (see below), and I tried to watch Fox a few times, but it wasn't any better.
The closest thing to television news I get is Rachel Maddow, because she's the only cable personality that I actually like (besides Stewart and Colbert). I watch them regularly, but I don't think The Daily Show and The Colbert Report count as "news."
I have a subscription to Mother Jones, which I love, and the online edition is good too. I also like the online editions of WSJ, NYT, StL Post Dispatch, Washington Post. I also like to peruse The Huffington Post and The Daily Beast. Hands down best international coverage is on BBC.
I get most of my news online from a number of sources.
The New York Times every day
The Washington Post about 3 times a week
The Huffington Post about once a week
The New Republic about once a week
Local TV news when I want to know the weather, sports scores, who got shot and what burned down.
National TV news hardly ever
BBC News sometimes
Fox News, only when I need a good laugh
Keith Olberman & Rachel Maddow for a different point of view
On the lighter side - I read The Onion, and I watch Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, because sometimes you just gotta laugh.
I get almost all of my news online. I use BBC, NPR, Talking Points Memo, and The Onion. The only tv news show I've ever seen here that didn't make me want to hurl was The News Hour on PBS.
Whoops, double post.
Fox News is the most biased, disgusting news source out there.
I check BBC, Al Jazeera and CNN basically on a daily basis. (Edit: I have to check online as I'm not in the US.) They do sell the New York Times here in Seoul but in the part of town I live in it's hard to track down and I don't particularly like the newspapers here... I find a lot of grammar mistakes and typos in the Korean Herald. The Korea Times is alright though.
Drudge report, Real Clear Politics, and the local small town newspaper. I'd like to start getting the WSJ again, but I don't know when I'd have time to read it!
Oh yeah, and theMudflats.net. Something about Alaska politics makes them really fun to follow.
Wow... pretty surprised so many people actually admit to watching Faux News.
I am a bit of a news junkie. I read The Star (average Malaysian daily, but the only English one), watch BBC World News and go to www.stuff.co.nz, a New Zealand news website every day.
Fox News is by no means the best crediable source for information. But like I said, when it comes to the American News stations, I prefer Fox

Trent is way better than perezhilton!
Perezhilton is my 10 minute - daily - guilty pleasure while I eat a nice lunch.
I can’t bring myself to waste time JUST reading perezhilton while doing notihng else….
But I CAN eat AND read perez at the same time, as reading that trash does not require me to use my brain.
I have a ritual where I save my nicest meal of the day, go on perezhilton, and enjoy the nice food and escape reality for 10 minutes hah.
In Australia, the only news I bother watching is SBS world news and I only even watch the news if I am in bed at 9.30 while it is on ( TV in my room)
Some may say it’s bad not to read the news, but I find that watching it every 1 - 3 days is enough.
If I was in the USA, then BBC sounds like the only material I would be interested in. aside from perez himton I don’t want to know about anything other then facts.

It just seems funny that you admit they aren't credible yet you still watch it. When Bush was in office, he was God. Now that Obama is in office all of their stories are about how the US is turning into a fascist country, etc. It's a joke.
