Your next cheat day/item?

Quote  |  Reply

I like to have a relaxed/cheat day once a week, usually on the weekend. It keeps me motivated to be 'good' during the week and changes things up so I don't get bored. It must be working because I've lost 20kgs (40-ish pounds)! For my next cheat treat I'm thinking a Baskin Robbins sundae yuuuum!

How about you?

I don't "cheat" but I count the calories no matter what it is. I think the most important thing for me is that if I'm going to eat something nutritionally void and high in calories, it needs to be something I really want, and then I'm going to plan it into my day. I no longer zombie-eat a whole bag of chips that I didn't really want or didn't really taste good. Instead I might say to myself, "When I go out tomorrow evening, I'm going to have apple pie, but I'm also going to make sure I eat my vegan burger and salad completely, so I can't stuff myself on dessert."
