Today is say something nice about obsydian day!
So say something nice about obsydian or rahana will personally come to your house and kick you in the tush!

obsydian, you don't always recognize it, but you're an inspiration for most of us.  You've been there, and done that. You've dealt with.. are dealing with an eating disorder. You've lost pounds AND inches and you're doing a great job. Alot of us wish we had the stick-to-it'ness that you have. I'm glad to have met you on this site. :)

ob you rock!  Im one of the few that has known you since the beginning and remember that shy girl that didnt think she could do this!  Good job on proving her wrong!

Well, Obsydian, I'm very glad that you gained the confidence to be the inspiration and motivation for many people on this site.

It's always great to read your posts and your replies to other people. You've said many great things on here. I'm glad to have been here to read them :)

Ob you rock. You came into our wolrd like a storm and took over. You showed us that if anyone can do it, we can, just like you did.

obsidyan, i look forward to reading all your posts!  i hope all the newcomers get to know you as well as us oldtimers.  you always know the right thing to say, and i hope we all get to meet you in person someday.  there are lots of wonderful people here now, and i love to see all the enthusiasam.  but you are, and always will be, very special because you helped set a very positive tone for all of these forums.  you have a special gift for insight and encouragement.  so please, keep at it!!

As a newcomer, I must agree with all the above.  I love reading obsidyan's replies as they are always truthful and insightful.  And if you disagree with something, you find a way to say so without ever being offensive.  I look forward to getting to know you better as well as the rest of the CC folks. LOVE THIS SITE!

You're truly an inspiration.  The ups..the downs..through your own self-discoveries, you also let us all know that it is NORMAL.  A lot of us don't have the guts to write what we're going through, but we find ourselves reading your posts and nodding our heads in agreement.

haha.. i'm here i'm here.. i "accidently" slept in till 8 freaking o'clock!  OMG i haven't slept this late in ages.. it felt good but now i feel guilty!

I think most of us are braver online than in real person.  It just isnt as intimidating for some reason.

Lady O .You are one of the people who I first noticed when I came to this site . I thank you . I have learened so many things from this site and much of it was from you and slappy You guys made me laugh so hard one day my husband thought I was going insane! I absolutely love your posts no matter how raw they are ( you have brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion) . I even give you credit for making more computer savy. When I first came here I SUCKED at the computer . Now my husband laughes that I am becoming a computer junkie! HAHAHA   You have such a great determination .Keep it up !!  Alison
