Ran accross this webiste that has logs for the workouts as well as a breakdown on food and %ages in excel format- to download the logs you need the book handy to get the password - the paperback version also works

Someone else posted this link before, but I usually am at work when I check this board and don't have my book!  I will have to remember to do this when I get home!  Do the logs have the exercises on them, or are they the same logs as what is on http://www.newrulesoflifting.com/?

I made my own workout sheet in excel because I hated that a workout did not fit on one page!  As I start a new stage, I change up the exercises sets and reps.  It would be nice to have ones with the exercises, sets and reps already on the sheet!

It does have the workouts for each phase and workout are on a seperate log and also references the page # of the excercise.

What I like is the calorie nutrition log it breaks down %ages of each meal on what you should consume in calories and the % of those cals from eqch fat/ protein/carb

First of all, THANK YOU for posting this it's a Godsend. After looking at that, apparently I've only been consuming Fat Loss Calories and not Maintenance Calories. Also I usually don't get in enough Protein(only about 100g), but I am getting WAY more than I would normally so that should count for something I hope.

Question, Why do they have a place for 6 sets in Stage 1 Work Out A and B? There are only 2 sets of each exercise per Work out right? So that would equal 8 sets, 8 of WO A and 8 WO B, so 16 total right.

Forgot to include this part

I haven't looked real close to the logs, but I also haven't started yet- but in the book the first couple workouts have 2 sets then the later ones have 3 sets.

I think the reason they have more sets is that they use a generic workout sheet and then put in the exercises and number of sets and reps.  My husband's NROL log is the same as ours.  I am currently doing 4 sets of 4 in stage 5....plus a couple warmup sets on some exercises.

I had been using my own log in excel to fit all the exercises on one page.  I use a different one for workout A and B.  I write in the exercise and the page number the directions are on, just like in the workout section of the book.

Ok So I decided to look through the book again to see if I missed something and I did, so I got my answer, some of the stages have up to 10 reps.

I used the logs from the link and made my own lil workout book, thank God I felt like such a moron carrying my little folded peices of paper with me. Now I only feel like a geek :-)

Thanks for this link, dbackerfan. Like yogagirl, I had also made my own logs in excel, but these are so much nicer!
Looking forward to using them when I start Stage 3 later today.

Congrats on starting stage 3, almdennis! I'm currently in the middle of stage 5 which has the same exercises. Let us know what you think of YWTL :)

I've also just started stage 3.  Have done each workout once.  YTWL was *hard*.  It probably didn't help that I don't have any weights less than 10 pounds anymore so my form was probably pretty crappy - especially on T.

I start stage 3 on Wednesday! I"m excited! I still have my 5 pounders so hopefully I'll be okay on that! It looks hard so..we shall see! I feel like I need to be past stage 2 though so I'm ready to move on! Thanks for the warning!

Just wanted to pop this up for you guys that don't have the logs!  These are AWESOME!  It has all of the exercises listed for each stage.

I've been contemplating repeating the program ( will complete 5 next week) and after I complete the program will download clean sheets and also enter my previous logs in a nice "neat" readable sheet so I can start carrying a whole "book" of my workouts.  Its been kind of nice to look at my workouts for stage 2 and comparie that with what I did in stage 4 and actually see progress in black and white.
