I recently gave up smoking by chewing sugar free gum and some nicotine gum. Is gum high in carbs?
Answer
Chewing gum is a great way to quit smoking. Each piece of sugar free gum and nicotine gum has only 1 gram of carbohydrate and 3 to 5 calories. Chewing gum has also been shown to release nervous energy, increase alertness, prevent snacking, and strengthen the teeth. Read about nicotine gum on About.com.
