Night out = disaster + Question!!
Okay so I really felt like I had to write something about this, because I do feel bad about it. Night out with friends last night... Dinner was not at all bad and then couple of drinks does not make a big difference for me either, at least I could easily maintain the weight I have lost this far.
But then I get home, quite tipsy and I eat. LOADS. I eat like I have never eaten before, and the worst part, is that I am not even hungry. So I wake up and obviously as I have eaten so much at night I am not hungry, so I basically screwed up my eating routines so I can't eat breakfast or anything. But I mean, these days just happens right? For everybody!! I usually avoid alcohol when I lose weight.
But to make things better: It could have been worse, for example I could have eaten a whole pint of ice cream (which I did't)...
AND AN IMPORTANT QUESTION: Do I weight more when having my period?

Don't freak. Just pick up and carry on as if it didn't happen. Today is a new day, and tomorrow is another one.
I gain a few pounds a few days before my period and they drop off toward the end of it.

For me, those kinds of nights are so long gone...But I know how you feel. Just pick up your chin and remember how you feel now. When I used to drink, it made me very hungry. And when your buzzed from drinking, you really don't think about consequences. I've been through the ringer and back with alcohol and if you're dieting, it's really the worst thing you can put into your body. Can you just completely cut it out of your diet? I wonder whether you were drinking mixed drinks or beers. It really doesn't matter but I was curious. I used to hate beer because I got so bloated and it took forever to get back to normal.
About the period, I always "bloat up" before and during my period, but it's mostly because of water gain. And it's really the only time I crave chocolate. So you might tend to weigh a little more. But that should go away after your period.
Like the previous poster said, it's a new day. Go for a walk or to the gym, anything that will make you feel a little less uneasy about the night before.

well going out and comin home to eat isnt a big deal as long as its not every day. I used to do it when I got home from work cause I didnt eat breakfast so I would get home at 230 and pig out for like an hour... than eat dinner at 6... sooo bad... but I have corrected my ways... as for the period.. yea i know what you mean ... I feel like a fat cow right now.. I should be getting my period any min! uhhh I hate this!
I drank mixed drinks..i dont like beer! I have cut out all alcohol for over a month now, but this was an exception, because though I am dieting I still want to be able to do some things..
