Nike+ Foot Pod pockets

Anyone able to recommend a product that can be worn on my shoe that can carry that lil foot pod thingy for my Nike+ Ipod kit?  I don't have the Nike shoes that have the built in compartment for the chip.  This is the only product I've come across that would do what I need, but I'm sure there has to be other items out there.

I think nike.com just wants you to buy the shoes.   At least I'm not finding anything there from the site.  

Er.. I thinK I was misunderstood. Shannon has something that goes over a normal shoe and works the way the Nike Shoes work. That way you can put it over your actual running shoe.

No idea who the manufacturer is, though.

yeah I'm just looking for a lil pocket that would carry that chip on my shoe.   Like a little pouch that would go on my laces or something.  The Nike shoes have a compartment for the chip in the sole of the shoe.  I'm not buying another pair of shoes just for this ipod accessory altho I'm sure that's what Nike wants me to do!  LOL

the RunAway  allows you to use the transmitter in any sneaker, since I just bought new sneaks that are not Nike+ ready.

it took me about a week to get this in the mail and you can pay with PayPal, which made me feel safe buying it online. I posted this last week to let you all know that there is a gizmo for sneaks other than nike...

I have a little pouch that attaches to my shoelaces that holds my nike + ipod sensor.  It works really well.  (Sorry I didn't get back to you guys sooner!)

awesome!  Thanks for all the options.   What are these lil things called anyway?  I mean generically what would you call this thing you put on your shoe to carry the chip?   I don't know how to search for them.  Seems there's plenty of products out there.

I got a road ID for this very purpose.  I was gonna get one of the little pouches made just for the little pod, but then I found this.  It's big enough for an ID or Credit card and maybe some cash and then the pod too.  It was only like 20$ and you get to put your name and emergency phone numbers and allergies on the tab AND it has a life time warranty for not breaking AND you can't even feel it on your shoe when you're running.

that looks pretty neat, the pouch, it is nice to carry ID God forbid anything ever happens...  I have the switch easy but I am always open to other items.  I just might get that and let my hubby use the switcheasy!  or maybe somehow I could incorperate both...  ID on one foot switcheasy with transmitter on the other.  A selling point for me was that the switch easy is water resistant... You never know with New England weather!

I like the Road ID tag for your shoe.  I don't think I'd want such a large pouch on my foot tho.   So yea, I like the idea of having the ID on one foot and the switch easy on the other.  heehee!

Nope - only the nano! :( Guess they don't think someone is going to lug around the bigger ones...

The video iPods - as I understand it- aren't really meant for a work out cuz the impact can screw up the spinning hard drive.  That's why I really need to get the 8gb nano which is flash memory and can't be bumped.
