I know it sucks... but weight totally effects how many calories you burn. It's like carry weights while you workout! Ellipticals and treadmills are made by companies, who like food companies like to portray a "version" of the truth to consumers. While juice companies give the nutritional info for "1 serving" which is actually only half the bottle of juice, so consumers think they're eating less than they are, cardio machine companies arethe same.
Most machines give out calorie reads for the "average person"... meaning an average man... probably a man weighing 170 lbs. Trust your Nike+.
I just got the Nike+ and it seems pretty accurate. Do you put your weight in the treadmill? It sometimes is configured to a 150 pound person if you don't change it.
Nike+ counts the steps you take and the amount of steps you take at a time, so it is very accurate. Sorry that it's less than you thought :(
Did you calibrate the Nike+ to your stride? That also makes a big difference. I calibrated it to my stride and it was very close to what I normally do on the treadmill whe I put in my current weigth. Did you input your weight into the treadmill?

Figure out what type of eater you are and you might just find the answer to permanent weight loss.
