Nipple rings

I've checked the boards to see if this has been asked before, but I didn't find anything.

Anyone out there willing to admit to having their nipples pierced?

Does it hurt when they get pierced?  Let me rephrase that.  Do they hurt A LOT when you get them done?

I want to get mine done, but I'm scared.

also... instead of searching the forums, page by page for different topics, you can

my friend got them done and her nipples hurt whenever anything barely touchd her. She wished she could just not wear a bra or shirt because it hurt so bad. Now that she's had them for awhile, it's fine though. I definitely would not be willing to go through that pain!

i used to have them, dont anymore.

hurt REAL bad.

slept w ice cubes in my bra.

they were real sore & tender for a couple weeks i think, as w any piercing.

but once theyre all healed its all good.

hurts like a b----- but it wont hurt forever & you'll live.

get it if you want it.

I have had mine pierced for 3+ years now.

I was so nervous it was going to hurt soooo bad, but it was a quick pinch, nothing super painful, then it was over.

I have never, ever, had problems with them.

They barely bled right after, were not sensitive, and healed great.

Best piercings I have ever gotten.

I have had the same barbells in them the whole time. They are easy to clean and I can't even tell I have them pierced.

Do Not Be SCARED! Actually, be scared, I was so scared that all the adrenaline helped me with not feeling the needle. Do it! They are so fun.

Mine have never hurt. Ever. They are my favorite!

I would say though, that you should get them pierced with a barbell instead of a hoop, they heal better because a barbell doesn't get the movement that the hoop does, so they won't get caught on something.

Current X-wife 2B had hers both done...she said they hurt initially...then after that no problem.  I actually considered having mine done....once...and that idea went away fairly fast.

I only had one side done... I LOVED IT!!! (and ironically--- it  made breastfeeding easier later... but that is a different story)

It hurt immediately, but not so bad, it was sort of a pleasure pain.  What would hurt like a bitch was in the beginning getting it snagged on the blanket or caught during sex, and no having any mouths on it for three? weeks after you get it done... that was hard.  My bf at the time would just lay there looking at it lol.

Care and maintenance is fairly easy.  I had a barbell.  I did have to go up in length on the barbell while pregnant to prevent it "growing in" while my breasts expanded, but... it was very easy.  The only thing I would be concerned about is show through, especially when considering ring v barbell.  I would start with a barbell and then move to ring and fun stuff after you are healed-- less likely to get caught on stuff and easier to change and clean.  Also take into consideration any issues with metal allergies.

Not at all, having needles shoved through your nipples actually feels like your getting licked by puppies.

It hurts when they do it, is hurts less and less for a few weeks, then it only hurts when they get caught on something.

Just do it. It didn't hurt me at all but it hurt to some other people. Depends how you take pain and how you feel at the time. It is nothing to worry about.

Well, the piercing itself will hurt a lot, but the part I found the most painful about the process was the clamps.

They were really tender for the first few days and I was really gentle with them, they healed up just fine.

If you get them done with barbells initially they'll probably snag less than rings.

I had mine done awhile ago and they caused me nothing but troubles.  They hurt a lot.  I've had approximately 20 piercings - 5 body piercings and none of them hurt has bad as nipples (in fact, I wouldn't even say any of them hurt much).  Then afterwards they took forever to heal even though I followed the instructions perfectly.  I constantly snagged them on things - clothing, body scrubber thing, etc - and then they would bleed a lot.    Plus, I never felt comfy in my clothes in family or professional events because I felt like no matter how think my bra was, they could still be seen.  I really wanted to like them, and it took me nearly five years to admit that I didn't like them (that's when I finally took them out).  I have nothing good to say about them.  My absolute favorite piercing is my hood - I highly suggest that one

I love mine.  I honestly can't imagine looking at my girls without them now.  They're like little surprises or something.

Getting mine done DID hurt a good bit--the initial piercing...but afterwards, it was really fine.  Even the day I got them done, they were fine.  Just the needle was bad.

HOWEVER, I will say that one of mine (poor righty!) was pierced...uhm...not TOO awesomely, if you will--and the piercer got a bit of areola on one side...so my right one is prone to infection.  If it gets knocked around--(my puppy loves to claw at boobies), it'll swell up and I'll have to switch from barbell to ring for a few days to allow the swelling to die down.

But honestly--usually it's no problem whatsoever, and I love them a TON.

Many many thanks for all the replies.  They are pulsating just a little, but nothing major.  The initial, needle into the skin, hurt.  But once they were finished, they felt fine.

Glad you like it, and i agree with whomever said something about it being like a little secret or suprise, its just like... i dont know but its awesome!
