My method of stir-frying without any oil. I do sometimes add a tiny amount of olive oil on top. This recipe will not taste particularly oriental.

Recipe Ingredients for No oil vegetable stir-fry

1 cup collards raw , roughly sliced
1 carrot, cut into sticks
1 cup broccoli, separated into medium sized florets
4 spring onions, roughly chopped
1/2 stock cubes
80 g quorn
1/10 tsp tabasco

Recipe Directions for No oil vegetable stir-fry

  1. Pour a few milliliters of water into a pan or wok, so you cover the bottom. Boil

  2. crush half a stock cube into the water, stir until it dissolves

  3. Throw in the carrots, broccoli, collards. Stir for a few minutes.

  4. Keep adding a small amount of water if the pan is drying out. Aim for about 2mm on the bottom.

  5. Aim to keep veggies slightly crunchy. Do not overcook!

  6. Throw in the spring onions, stir until they wilt a bit.

  7. Do not add more water before cooking is almost done. Instead, allow the water to evaporate.

  8. Put on a plate, add a dash of tabasco.

  9. Add a drizzle of olive oil if you want to (not included here)
