nonfiction - Forgive Us Our Debts
Forgive Us Our Debts: the Intergenerational Dangers of Fiscal Irresponsibility by Andrew Yarrow
Just started reading this very thin volume about the debt and the deficits of the American government.
The first chapter is grim - laying out exactly how much debt we have (approaching $10 trillion) and where it comes from.
I really hope this author has some post-partisan suggestions for what to do about it - or else this book will leave me very depressed.

After reading this book I am both more concerned than ever about our mounting debt AND convinced that we can make the necessary changes to right the ship and turn it around and head back into sound financial waters.
I recommend this book to EVERYONE who expects to live on planet earth.
