why there are so many nonsense adverts in this website?
hello,
I do not pretent to nag about the site, the site is wonderful, this is my number 1 tool for weight loss, i use it every day and it works wonders for me. But i have noticed that lately there are so many random google adverts about how to lose 25 pounds in 2 weeks, 9 pounds in 1 week and all that rubbish that just aims to rip people off, as is all just rubbish.
I think caloriecount should pick certain advertisers depending on what they have to offer. I do not personally consider that for a few cents earned for a click, they should accept such crappy advertising. it shows as "sponsored links", which makes the site look bad really, when it is not, this site is fantastic !!

Yep, right on time.
Get an ad-blocker and you won't see any advertisements at all.![]()
Unfortunately, this problem is linked to the way the modern online marketing works - it is all managed and distributed via 3rd parties. CC and about.com really have no control over this. It sucks sometimes, but this is just the way that most free sites these days have to do things in order to stay free.
