Hello all.  I am here just for calorie counting to see what all sort of garbage I'm putting in my system every day.  I like the accountability and the fact that it's FREE!  Seriously... the media goes on and on about American's being fat.  You want people to lose weight?  Help them by making it free! Thank you Calorie count for doing that.

Anyway, off the soap box. I'm a Mom who has been in the military for 17 years.  I have 3 years to go until I retire, but recent injuries ( and a lifelong battle with food addiction) has put some pounds on my caboose.  So, with a new fitness program about to kick out A LOT of folks from the military, I need to lose some weight so the focus is off me.  Hard to do when you have 2 bulging discs in your back.  Also, I am having surgery on both shoulders for torn rotator cuffs and separated AC joints.  

What surprises me is the lack of help I've received from the military on fitness and nutrition.  Their mentality is that being fat is not genetic, or caused from hormone imbalances, medical problems, etc...its from nothing other than laziness and a lack of will power to exercise, etc.  So, I have that battle to deal with as well.  I will keep fighting them as much I can... jerks.

Now if I can just get my husband to stop bringing junk food home. Ha!
