nooooooooo - possible strained tendon
so i think i strained a tendon in my wrist from doing bicep curls....i was progressing in weight by 5lbs and i guess i hit a point where i couldnt progress anymore....so i still tried to lift this new amount and did about 2 reps by straining a lot.
I know that was a bad move, but im into my 5th week of heavier lifting and now im worried about how long it will take to heal. I cant do any bicep curls without pain, and i cant do any triceps pushdowns/extentions. Will this affect me if i cant work my arm out? (its my right hand wrist)
How long do you think i should rest my arms...

http://firstaid.webmd.com/sprains_and_strains _treatment_firstaid.htm
now remember that with every accident u need to take a break. read the following articles and if u need more information just let me know.
"Recovery time for a muscle strain can vary, depending on a person's age and health and the type and severity of the strain. While a minor strain often heals well with home treatment, a severe strain may require medical treatment. If a severe strain is not treated, a person may have long-term pain, limited movement, and deformity." u need to look into the aticles and c how bad ur strain is....
good luck and i hope u can get back to lifting soon

try investing in some wrist wraps. it will give some added support to your wrists.
Check out the WristWidget at wristwidget.com. It's made for wrist strains where you have problems with gripping -- sounds like what you describe. Since it doesn't immobilize your wrist, it should allow you to continue lifting.
