This morning I was so beat and tired even though I had slept for 5 hrs, and so I didn't go work out. All day today I have been just starving. I am eating mostly healthy stuff, except a handfull of fries. I have had some dry peaches, grapes, papayas, salad. Alot of Stuff. What is going on here? Can someone help?

only time that happens to me, is "the time of month"  wake up tired and mentaly excausted, and would empty the fridge if I let myself.

I go and work out anyway's, sometimes it helps, sometimes it just stay's the same.
But aunt flow was in town about 2 weeks ago. This can't be her again.
yes when you don't get enough sleep not only makes your body turn to extra food for energy it also slows down the metabolism, so when you don't get enough sleep you basically get hit with about 3 bad stones at once: you seem hungier, your metabolism slows down, and either you're too tired to exercise/or if you do exercise you wont be able to work at the same intensity. Try to get at least 6 hours if not 8. Good luck and take care.

no, doesn't have to be. I get the stuff right in the middle, between the `visits`it.  And when it's a bad month a couple of day's before again.
without a DOUBT, if i don't get enough sleep (like working a closing til midnight, and following w/ an opening shift at 9am) i have to kick and scream my way away from food.  throw a hangover in there, and i'm toast.
I'm the same way when I don't get enough sleep...starving all day.
if you don't get enough rest, your body craves fuel to keep going on a less-than-fully-recharged battery.

don't sweat it-just try to get lots of sleep tonight. :)
