Is it normal to maintain weight before a period starts?

Quote  |  Reply

Ok so Ive been struggling with weight gain due to water retention because of my period coming up soon. Ive been going up and down for 2 weeks now (i guess this is normal...if its not then by all means tell me lol) but I mostly just maintain on a certain weight. I barely go down at all or go up for that matter...like... its barely .2 lbs, or .4 stuff like that..slowly as well..well once an entire pound...but after that its been like I Said....so Im wondering if its normal to maintain weight during a period? has anyone have this happen to them before? I freaked out so I dropped my cals but Im really hating it, and I will up as of tomorrow....but I guess it would be nice to know if its normal or not or if its happened to someone before...

help? hehe

thanks

Your body weight can fluctuate up to 3-5lbs per day on a normal day.  Add your period and the fries you ate for lunch and who knows what could happen!  Don't worry too much about your weight during TTOM.
