Ok so i went off the wagon a bit, but now been back on working out and eating healthy and staying in my calorie range for going on about 3 full weeks now.....and i havent lost anything. i keep flipping between 149 and 150. is it my body's reaction to the change in activity, diet, etc, and it takes a few weeks before i will actually start losing? any advice would be appreciate...also is 1300 cals enough for my stats:

5'2'', 149-150, working out 6 days a week with weights and cardio...

anyone?

any advice would be appreciated! am i not eating enough or should i maybe not work out as much (or at least as strenuous like taking walks instead of elliptical with resistance?) please! :)

Well, your BMR is 1400, so I'd say eat at least that. If you are working out 6 days a week, I say you should probably be eating closer to 1500-1700 cals.

If you like the exercise, dont' reduce it - just eat more.

Eat more!  1300 isn't enough, you should be eating 1500 at the very least, more if you're working out six days a week.

thank you so much for the reply! i think we get it into our heads that we need to eat less to lose weight. eating more just seems the opposite. im a southern girl and i do love some good food....should my best bet be incorporating more fruits throughout the day or protein?

It's probably better to get more calories through protein. Fruit is very good for you too, not saying it isn't (this coming from a fruit junkie herself lol), but you don't need anymore carbs from sugar. If you're already eating 2-3 fruits a day, add more protein in the mix. (and not the fried kind Wink LMAO)
