There is a new Groups tab and regional groups are starting under it.  There are groups for San Francisco and Sacramento, but if you want to talk to people further north, you will have to start one yourself.  The tabs are at:

I am a Nor Cal girl too! (From San Jose) I just joined and started logging food and activities yesterday. I have already lost most of my weight (prior to joining this site) but am struggling with exercise (or getting enough). Good to hear from another Nor Cal grrl  =) Keep in touch!

Yeah I'm the same, I have been a member for a while but just now started logging back in and posting and reading post.

I feel ya! I lost most of the weight I intended to but yes gym visits have diminished. I try to do push-ups and those kind of exercises at home, but I miss the weights and running on the treadmill consistently.

I had a gym buddy but she stopped going because of schedule issues. So it is harder to go on my own.  I try to dance a lot to make up for the lost gym visits. Haha you think it compensates it?

sorry, I've been in a weird mood all day.

I lived in Tracy for 8 years. Parents are still there. Brother went to St. Marys High School.

So Stockton is old stomping grounds.

Edit: I also lived in the Bay Area- Fremont to be exact. So I feel you guys in San Jo too!

o lovely stockton haha...i actually do enjoy the Thunder! i never thought I would enjoy ice hockey until I wen tto a game. pretty fun! I work in Lodi. We have a lot of ppl from stockton who work there.

ugh I am dreading tomorrow! It is going to be sooo flippin hot and so far they havent' cancelled our workout. I do not want to ride/run in that weather!
