Norvasc medication for hypertension makes me very hungry

When off of it for a week I was not hungry much at all. Has anyone else experienced this with taking this medication for high blood pressure?

I made a journal post about this as well. I need to find something that works for me that I don't have a severe reaction to that doesn't make me so hungry all the time.

Why don't you go pack to whoever prescribed the medication, tell them what's happening, see if it's a known contra-indication of the drug and ask if there are any alternatives?  It's not down to the patient to find the right drug normally.

I'm on another blood pressure medication now with no adverse results.

I am not longer hungry. As a matter of fact i'm rarely hungry anymore and my legs feel much better.
